07 Nights/08 Days:-

Day 01: Delhi – Leh:-

Early this morning after a quick cup of tea/coffee you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Leh. This one-hour flight from the Indian capital to Ladakh's capital will be something that you might remember for the rest of your life. Assistance on arrival and immediate transfer to your hotel. There will be no activity on your first day of arrival. It has been strongly recommended for tourists to relax and undergo minimal exertion to enable them to get acclimatized to rarefied oxygen level in this high-altitude region ensconced in the high Himalayan plateau. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Day 02: Leh – Tour of Hemis, Thiksey, Shey and Stok:-

Visit the Hemis Monastery – The richest and the largest monastery in Ladakh, on the same route, way back to Leh, we’ll visit Thiksey Monastery which belongs to red hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and Shey Palace - summer palace of the kings of Ladakh called Singey Namgyal. Facing Shey across the river Indus lays the Stok Palace Museum. A visit to the museum will be followed by a drive back to Leh. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Day 03: : Leh – Pangong Lake:-

Distance: 150 Kms. Drive: 05 Hrs.
The main attraction of this circuit is the Pangong Lake, situated at an altitude of 14,000 ft (4,267m). It is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly 6 to 7 kms at its widest point, and over 130 kms long, and bisected by the international border between India and China. One fourth portion of this lake is in India and rest in China. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Day 04 : Leh – Nubra Valley:-

Distance – 145 Kms Drive: 04 – 05 Hrs
Morning we depart towards Northwards across the Khardong La the highest motorable road in the world, which is at a height of 5570 mts. (18300 ft.) after a brief halt at the pass, we continue our drive to a different landscape. We arrive at the village of Hunder in Nubra Valley, check-in to a tented camp. Afternoon we drive or walk up to visit Diskit Monastery. After that, we visit the Double Humped Camel Breeding Centre. This camel, also known as the Bactrian camel is the principal animal of inner Asia used especially on the Northern part of the route beyond Karakoram Pass. Overnight at Fixed tented camp / Hotel

Day 05: Nubra Valley - Leh:-

Morning, we drive back to Leh from the same route across the Khardong La pass. Upon arrival in Leh, we check in to the hotel. In the evening you’ll get enough time to shop around. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 06 : Alchi, Likir magnetic Hill, Guruduwara Pather sahib and Sangam:-

After breakfast drive towards Leh, enroute visiting the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed heritage site. Thereafter, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib & Hall of Fame. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: In and around Leh: Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame:-

Visit the Shanti Stupa on the hill top where you can see a spectacular view of Leh town, Khardongla Pass and Stok Kangri, peak. Then a visit to Tsemo castle on top of a cliff facing Leh town- Here lies a three storey tall statue of Maitreya Buddha and it is situated below below Namgyal palace- Built by 16th century ruler Singay Namgyal, which was damaged during the Kashmir-Ladakh War.

Day 08: Leh -Delhi:-

Today you will be woken up early in the morning, after a hot cup of tea/coffee you will be driven to the airport to connect your flight to New Delhi, this will be your last opportunity catch the spectacular view of the Himalayan ranges.

Note:-

Foreign nationals and NRI’s must carry their passport on tour to Ladakh. All guest must consult the doctor before joining this tour and should carry all precautionary medicines required for high altitude sickness like headaches, dizziness, nausea, breathing trouble etc.
